The Middle School season is off to a good start this year. The team has been to two camps and is now waiting for school and the season to start. The first camp was July 4 -9, 1999, at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. The girls played in the Middle School Division, and won all their games(13-0). The next camp was held at Morehead State University, in Morehead, KY on July 23-25, 1999. We played in the JV Division at Morehead. We were 4-2 in pool play and 0-1 in the tournament. The girls played hard for the most part and did an exceptional job against the older teams. Our camp totals for the summer are 17-3, not a bad way to start the season. |
